Williar resigns for role in Flagler College admission scandal

MARC WILLIAR MARC WILLIAREarlier today, Flagler College President, William T. Abare Jr., informed local Historic City News reporters that, last week, an internal investigation revealed that test scores, grade point averages, and class ranks of freshman entering the college from fall 2010 to fall 2013, were misreported to the media and certain evaluating agencies.

Armed with the results of the preliminary investigation, Abare confronted Marc Williar, Vice President for Enrollment Management at Flagler College, on Friday. According to a statement posted by Abare today, Vice President Williar “has resigned after taking sole responsibility.”
